Crypto Currency: Write For Us

Bitcoin Magazine is the oldest and most established source of news, information, and expert commentary on Bitcoin, its underlying blockchain technology, and the industry that has been built up around it. Since 2012, Bitcoin Magazine has provided analysis, research, education, and thought leadership at the intersection of finance and technology.

Bitcoin Magazine strives to present accurate, timely, and relevant material to the Bitcoin and blockchain communities. We are passionate about Bitcoin and are keen to share news about the people, companies, and technological developments that are changing our world. Whether our readers are new to the space or blockchain-savvy developers, investors or entrepreneurs, we aim to inform and enlighten them with quality stories that meet our stringent editorial and journalistic standards, featuring both the highs and the lows of the Bitcoin industry.

WHAT CONTENT WILL BE ACCEPTED?

Bitcoin Magazine accepts original, unpublished content about Bitcoin and related topics such as economics, politics, and culture. As of early 2019, we have ceased publishing content that doesn’t focus on Bitcoin (also referenced as “Bitcoin Core” or “BTC”). We will make exceptions for submissions that aren’t directly about Bitcoin (i.e., regulation, investing, privacy), but they will need to clearly provide information that is relevant and important for a Bitcoin-focused audience.

Bitcoin Magazine publishes content in multiple different formats (live streams, podcasts, articles, memes, etc.), but generally prefers to accept written article content from outside contributors.

We welcome guest post submissions from industry experts and thought leaders that are centered around Bitcoin. Like any news article, submissions for guest posts are considered according to their merit and relevance to our readership.

HOW CAN I SUBMIT CONTENT?

Please submit your content to realtimecryptonews@gmail.com with the following information:

The subject line of your email should include “CONTRIBUTOR SUBMISSION” along with the suggested title of your article

Is this a response to a specific “request for articles”?

Is this content an opinion, news, or announcement (pick one)?

Author bio and relevance as an expert on this topic

Summary (less than 150 words) in the body of the email

Article text (between 800 and 1,200 words) as a collaborative document format such as Google Docs with the settings of “anyone can edit”

Please do not submit entire articles in the body of the email.

If you have not yet written your article, but wish to determine if the topic of choice would be a good fit for Bitcoin Magazine, you are welcome to submit a comprehensive summary that describes the potential narrative you’d like to write about.

If your content is selected for publication, we will also require you to sign our Guest Contributor’s Agreement before publishing.

WILL YOU STEAL MY IDEAS?

We want to help all great Bitcoin-related content be seen by the world, so please err on the side of submitting your content, even if you fear it will not be a perfect fit for us. We’d rather be a place where multiple voices can be heard instead of dominating the Bitcoin conversation with a limited set of viewpoints.

We pledge not to steal your ideas or content; feel free to timestamp the existence of your submission before sending it.

DO YOU ACCEPT ALL CONTRIBUTIONS?

Not all submissions will be considered for publication and we do not guarantee a response to all submissions.

Do not submit generic content, press releases, or announcements in this format; all submissions must be original, unpublished content of your creation. Press releases can also be sent to realtimecryptonews@gmail.com for consideration, clearly marked as such.
